THE ORBANE COLLECTIVE
The Tags that are attached to our garments say it all, we are
The Orbane Collective and our designs represent the collective ideas
of individual thinkers.
The Orbane collective is a blend of different creative styles, consisting
of clothing designers, graphic designers, photographers, fine and
street artists putting together our idea's we have designing streetwear
as we see it baggy, colourful and fresh.
We are of the hip-hop generation as a result we have taken the
fifth element of hip-hop which is the clothing, and added portions
of the other 4 elements M-Cing, D-jing, B-boying and most of all
the graf. But we have not stopped there we fused into this process
our natural talents of photography, art, and how our clothes blend
with our (influences) instincts and the environment.
The orbane collective was formed as a loose framework of individuals
with different creative hobbies, in 2002 founding members of the
collective decided to blend their hobbies of clothing design fine-art
and street photography within the concept of a set of clothing
designs, and in January 2003 the first orbane t-shirt was produced.
The last one and a half years have seen us refining and developing
both the product and the business strategy and as a result we have
produced our own unique vision of streetwear, that we anticipate
will capture a feeling of what is happening in the streets and will
echo the rhythm and vibrancy that is hip-hop, reggae, Uk garage
and African rhyms.
The journey so far has seen us launch one range on the debut of
our clothing line, this consists a set of t-shirts primarily with
various elements of the Orbane diversity logo, Which shows a distinctive
style that is not just colour co-ordinated, but which aims to acquaint
you with what will be a standard trend with this label, style and
quality. So pop the tag put on an Orbane and wear your style with
attitude.
